To aid and assist CSU in research, education and outreach efforts through technology transfer, real estate development and management, and innovative financing to support University priorities.

Who We Are

Established in 1941, the Colorado State University Research Foundation (CSURF) is a private, not-for-profit Colorado Corporation that supports research and educational efforts of the universities governed by the Board of Governors of the Colorado State University System. Originally established to support the CSU Fort Collins campus, our services were expanded in 1988 to include all CSU System universities (CSU Fort Collins, CSU Pueblo, CSU Global, and CSU SPUR). CSURF provides this support through three main functions: equipment financing, strategic real estate services, and intellectual property management and technology licensing (technology transfer)
